KINPAX TERMS
Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of KinPax, a service operated by Grapplers Connect LLC. By creating an account or using KinPax, you agree to these Terms.
Effective date: September 17, 2026
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create or use a KinPax account. KinPax accounts are not intended for children.
KinPax service
KinPax helps adults organize and share childcare instructions, create Care Guides and Handoffs, coordinate trusted caregivers, record care events, and review Session Summaries. Features may change as the service evolves.
No medical, emergency, or professional caregiving service
KinPax is an organizational and communication tool. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, pharmacy, emergency service, childcare agency, or substitute for professional medical advice or professional caregiving judgment. KinPax does not determine whether medication is appropriate, calculate or verify doses, diagnose conditions, supervise caregivers, or guarantee that instructions will be seen or followed. In an emergency, contact appropriate emergency services and qualified professionals.
Responsibility for child information
If you create or manage a child profile, you represent that you are authorized to provide and manage the information you submit and to share it with the caregivers you select. You are responsible for keeping care instructions reasonably accurate and current.
Caregiver responsibility
Caregivers are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment and following instructions from the child’s parent or guardian, subject to safety and applicable law. KinPax does not conduct background checks, certify qualifications, or guarantee caregiver conduct.
Care Circle and Handoff access
Care Circle membership and Handoff access are for authorized adults. Membership does not necessarily provide access to all information about a child. Parents control the information shared for a Handoff. You must not grant access to unauthorized people.
Account security and user content
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device and for activity occurring through your credentials. Do not share credentials. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant KinPax a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and as described in the Privacy Policy.
KinPax Pro subscriptions
KinPax may offer optional paid subscriptions, including KinPax Pro. If you purchase through the Apple App Store, payment, applicable taxes, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under its applicable terms and policies. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless you cancel through your Apple account settings before the end of the current billing period. Prices, features, eligibility, and availability may vary by country or region and may change as permitted by applicable law and Apple’s policies.
Acceptable use
Do not use KinPax for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, exploitative, or harmful purposes. Do not access a child profile, Handoff, Care Session, or account without authorization; bypass security controls; upload malicious code; misuse automated access; harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or endanger a child or adult; impersonate another person; or misrepresent your relationship to a child.
Exports and third-party services
If you export or share a Care Sheet or other information outside KinPax, you are responsible for selecting an appropriate recipient and transmission method. KinPax cannot control copies once they are saved, printed, or shared through third-party services. KinPax may rely on third-party platforms and infrastructure whose availability and terms may affect the service.
Availability, suspension, and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance or changes necessary for security, legal compliance, or product operation. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, children, KinPax, or third parties; address unlawful or abusive activity; enforce these Terms; or comply with law. You may stop using KinPax and request account deletion.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINPAX IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. KINPAX DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF USER-PROVIDED CARE INFORMATION, THE CONDUCT OF CAREGIVERS, OR THAT A CAREGIVER WILL SEE, UNDERSTAND, OR FOLLOW A HANDOFF.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAPPLERS CONNECT LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO KINPAX. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO KINPAX DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GRAPPLERS CONNECT LLC from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit without authorization.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after an updated effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted.
